PERMACULTURE & VISIONARY ART
"Permaculture is a philosophy of working with, rather than against nature; of protracted & thoughtful observation rather than protracted & thoughtless labour; of looking at plants & animals in all their functions, rather than treating any area as a single-product system." Bill Mollison
"Consciously designed landscapes which mimic the patterns and relationships
found in nature, while yielding an abundance of food, fibre and energy for provision of local needs. People, their buildings and the ways in which they organise themselves are central to permaculture." David Holmgren
The term Permaculture is a contraction of the words "permanent," "agriculture,” and “culture.” Although the original focus of Permaculture was sustainable food production, the philosophy of Permaculture has expanded over time to encompass economic and social systems that combine ancestral wisdom and technology.
The Permaculture revolution is a dynamic movement that opens space for different approaches. At Stoney Creek Permaculture & Healing we are integrating spirituality, visionary art and personal growth work into the framework of our lifestyle, we are offering an inspirational life changing experience for those who want to join us on this magical land.
We are a part of a worldwide network and movement of individuals and groups working in both rich and poor countries on all continents. We are planting seeds for the future and sharing the true way to live in harmony with nature as our ancestors once did. As we are in Australia, our main inspiration comes from the First Nations Tribes. Take a look at some videos that inspire us:
"The artist’s mission is to make the soul perceptible. Our scientific, materialist culture
trains us to develop the eyes of outer perception. Visionary art encourages the development of our inner sight. To find the visionary realm, we use the intuitive inner eye:
The eye of contemplation;the eye of the soul. All the inspiring ideas we have as artists originate here."
