We acknowledge the Worimi People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which now live.  We pay respects to the Elders, past, present and future, and recognise the continuing connection and contribution to this land.  We would like to extend this respect to all First Nations People. We honour and respect first nations culture and heritage across the world. We believe that their cultures have more relevance than ever before and they hold the answers to many of the problems faced by communities around the world today.

This sacred land is rich in history, amongst many incarnations it was one of the original saw mills in the area.  The nowadays configuration of the land is related to that history. This place is alive and breathing with the positive energy of its ancestors that guide us now.

Alain, Stephen, and Melanie arrived on the property in spring 2013 and since then have been regenerating the land to guarantee the biosecurity of the valley. Iorua Giodani, Geographer, Permaculture designer and Reiki healer arrived on the property in May 2016 and joined our team for one year co ~ creating and working with the land, helping to establish and manage community.

We are working for a better future for humanity, one that is all inclusive. We have dedicated our lives to turning the collective dream into reality.

OUR HISTORY

Melanie Lee

I am a mother, activist/artist, author and illustrator, co-founder of Stoney Creek Permaculture and Healing and The Creative Kind.  After graduating from the School of Social Entrepreneurs and The Centre for Sustainable leadership I came to see very clearly the brokenness of the food systems in our country. Now i'm learning how to grow organic food, co-creating a food forest with an outdoor kitchen and natural learning space to share experience, knowledge, and wisdom about growing organic chemical free food with others, especially children.
